>>2719229>Tent: we have huts in NZ. Alpine bivy bag for emergency, plus a snow saw and shovel in winter. >Bag: Macpac Pursuit>Sleeping bag: MacPac, can’t remember. Equinox(?) when it’s not cold, 2nd warmest alpine bag for winter. Epic maybe?>Sleeping pad: cheap af foam roll for summer plus a ¾ Zrest in winter. After a few failed inflatables I’m done with them. Fuck all use if the valve is damaged or your mate stands on it with a crampon.
Favourite kit: old Prophet jacket, pretty much a windbreaker now but I can’t find something I like enough to replace it. Remember stretchy Goretex Viper? Probably not. This has it in the neck, shoulders and cuffs, man it’s comfy. And relatively light.
Maybe a Cactus Alpine, but I’ll have to ask them to offset the zip at the chin, you’ve no idea what an improvement that is over a zip in your mouth.
Waist cords are inside on mine, not sure what they were thinking in pic.
