>>2723447It's clever but not very comfortable. The thing with poncho shelters (and small tarp shelters in general) is that it's always a trade-off between how much room you have and how protected you are.
You can set a low plow point and you'll be cozy and pretty warm (your own body heat gets trapped good), but you'll have to slide yourself in there. It's like a bivvy, but without a floor and not enclosed.
It's even worse with the 'official' setup laid out in the manual (picrel, bottom left). Knowing it's only 180cm, anyone who isn't a manlet will have to curl up in the fetal position for actual cover from rain.
Now you can set up various other types (high plow point, diamond also come to mind) which give less protection from the elements but more space.
