Ok faggots, here's a rough outline of some thoughts I've been having about climate change lately that are fundamentally contrary to the green house gas consensus in modern (((science))).
We'll start with a TLDR; we removed water from the water table and permanently? added it to the water cycle resulting in more severe localized weather.
So let's break that down. How did we remove the water from the water table? Agriculture and removal of wildlife from the landscape. North America used to be roughly 70% wetlands. Overhunting the beaver in colonial times removed the ability for nature to maintain that percentage. Settlers then drained wetland areas to make room for agriculture. Later, dams removed seasonal flooding and variable flows. Modern agriculture installs drain tile or does mono cropping which creates a hardpan that water runs off of. We are down to single digit percentage of wetlands with no mechanism in place to recharge ground water reservoirs.
The result is that we have taken water out of landmass and placed it in continuous flow through the water cycle.
