I'm looking to learn a thing or two about vacuum sealing food for camping trips. I have a friend going on a camping trip soon, and I want to make her some tasty food (and to stroke my own ego as a chef)

Any tips on where to start? What to avoid? Warning signs if a vacuum packed omelette is about to explode?
