I bought this land and moved out here a few years ago in a camper. Now I'm getting ready to build my home and the most ideal spot I had picked out (tucked in a holler) is just a few hundred feet away from these large power lines that go through my land and the state comes by a few times in a helicopter a year and dumps glyphosate on it. It is also super gay because there is a natural spring coming out of a small cave just downhill from this that I wanted to use for my water. I guess I'm going to have to move my home spot as far away from these power lines as possible even though it would be far less ideal for what I had in mind. Could I make an arrangement with the state that I'll bush-hog the strip if they won't dump poison? How can they dump poison right next to people's homes?
