I was one of those people would say, "Caffeine doesn't affect me, I could drink a whole cup of coffee and fall asleep immediately!" but when I actually cut out all caffeine for over a month the improvement in the depth and effectiveness of my sleep was astronomical. I slept longer, felt more rested after, could wake up on time without an alarm and without feeling groggy... I never looked back. My life improved more after quitting alcohol, too. These days I don't think any mind-altering substances are worth taking, it's much better to be completely straightedge sober.
