>>2744738If you don’t live or regularly visit these areas you wouldn’t know. There are almost no dirt roads where I grew up, and the few that exist were too noisy and not at all far from suburbia, you basically had to get out of your car to actually wild camp.
Where I live now there are hundreds of miles of dirt roads to nowhere that you can camp on.
I went down to FL in 2011ish to try and watch one of the last space shuttle launches and forgot what the east is like, there was almost nowhere to rough camp and only a handful of dirt roads, I wound up getting a hotel instead.
