>>2746584Breezewood is merely a gateway to more interesting things in NW/SW PA. It's simply where the interstates meet. There's lots of beautiful stuff 2-3 hours away.
>Dolly Sods and Seneca Rocks are worthwhile.this is for normies
there's more interesting stuff nearby if you are willing to go out a little further onto the plateau
also, DO NOT SKIP pine mountain
also for dolly sods there's a couple of things you can do, you can hike along the red creek trail if you want a creek with campsites and lots of crossings, for views, the easiest is bear rocks, you park (there were will be others) at the north end of dolly sods where the bear rocks trail starts but heading off to the right towards the edge of the rocks, walk out on the rocks for views, better views can be had as a 4-5 mi hike from the rohrbaugh plains or wildlife trailheads to an overlook of red creek from above (wildlife trail was a mudpit when I did it, rohrbaugh is slightly longer but may be less muddy), or if you go between sept 1 and dec 31 (must be those dates) you can hike around the pipeline to a view of seneca creek looking towards seneca rocks from the south end of dolly sods in the roaring plains wilderness
