Hey /out/! I live in the UK and am sick and tired of paying rent. Simple as and without getting into the politics of it etc I’m thinking of spending the next couple of months outdoors with an occasional evening inside staying with a friend / relative. I’ve been hiking with increased intensity of late and am getting great miles in, done some wild camping with a tarp but thinking of getting an ultralight tent and just heading off. I’m wondering if anybody here has any stories of being homeless or long term backpacking? Any advice while I weigh things up?

I’ve recently sold most of my possessions and have been trying to live out of a bag while I’ve done some travelling for work so feel somewhat geared up for this. Mostly thinking of the outdoors element, staying clean etc.
