I only used komoot, never tried alltrails
but every time I chose a hard track near me (Bavarian Alps) it was always a disappointment
mostly neither long / steep nor particular technical
I rather stick to the local tourism boards hiking routes or Alpenverein (big hiking club that also marks trails)
