It's time I ditched my 2 man tent for a one man tent.
I like this for it's size, the price, and easy set up but It's less waterproof than my current one buy 1000 on the rainfly, and ground sheet.

Now that all the children have had their say, I can recommend the Naturehike/Cloudup 1P. I bought it on amoozon. Sometimes it's listed as a 1P bikepacking tent. There are two variants, one being poly and the other nylon. I got the 20D Nylon, silocone coated. Check that out, budget tent and does the job

I'm rocking this cheapo Alps engineering one. I bought something cheap to figure out what exactly I wanted and I've just stuck with this one. Did wonderland twice with it, camped on the beach with friends a dozen or so times and got up some overnighters in the alpine lakes region. It's pretty good.

It’s a non-freestanding tent but requires the included poles? And they used mostly solid polyester for the inner instead of netting? And it weighs 1.4kg/3lbs?

4000mm poly is better than 5000mm nylon in some cases. Hydrostatic head is used because it’s the only established criteria we have, but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Yeah my current one is pretty simliar. The ground sheet is 6000HH, and the outer is 5000HH, weighs 2.2kg, All poly.
I like how simple it is to set up when I'm almost paralytic: Steak it down, middle pole, two end poles, done.
Just want a smaller profile when pitched

Anon, the tent in the OP is a terrible design.

The entire concept behind a non-freestanding tent is to save weight (and some space) at the cost of stability and ease of setup. Generally these tents utilize trekking poles that double as tent poles. This pile of shit makes all of the sacrifices with none of the benefits. And the inner being mostly solid polyester is just unforgivably stupid.

Well I definitely need a stable tent as I like to camp in bad weather, My current tent was good in high winds, Not sure how high though it was suppsoedly 50mph at 10meters above ground, and I was 600ish above it
