Attempted to sleep outside in a forest in a sleeping bag for the first time (on the Sljeme mountain in Croatia), but hearing all the forest night noises and the thought of boars specifically made me panic. Please whitepill me on how non-dangerous it is to camp in Europe, and tips to avoid/defend myself against boars would be appreciated. How did you guys feel when you slept in nature for the first time?
