advices for a trip

No.2762986 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
so i post this thread to get advices ,preferably from euros.

I will go for santiago di campostella in October. So basically everything is alright but right now i've considering switching by e-bike for a long travel bike considering buying a second hand cheap since there's a discount on the riverside touring 520 and change the saddle and maybe wheels since they're heavy as fuck.
At the same time the bike is fucking 16kg (better than my ebike 23kg).
My tent is a bit heavy too (3.2kg)
and i wanted to ask : do you think for a trip of 1500 km i could actually plan for a lighter bike (light gravel) and a lighter tent (or maybe a tarp) even if i will be around in winter in spain ? my plan is to go to santiago and then going to la costa granadina since apparently winters are soft there but at the same time i'm more worried about the rain (hence the weight of my tent).
That would be my first trip and desu i don't know fucking know what to do choose : do i go full retard with a light bike and light equipment and pray on the luck that everything goes alright until i'm there (not too much rain and not too cold during nights) or do i consider heavier but at least i'm sure i won't be bothered that much when it will start raining ?
in short : do i go full light and being comfortable when biking or do i bring real stuff in case of but packing myself heavier ?

thanks for your answers.
