Anyone know what bug this is?
Found some of these fuckers in my house the last couple of days. The frontal part is slightly red but it's not clear in my photos.

I get vine weevils crawling into my house every now and then

They usually infest grain. Do you have any grain based animal feed, bird seed or grain for milling/brewing/other?

Nope. I'm in the city as well. Only grain I got is a few kilos of rice I got in a sale recently. But those don't have any bugs.

I don't have sweet potatoes but I do have cherry tomato plants outside my window...
As for the weevils, all four are the one and the same.
As for something else that might be referrenced, I'd rather not choose at all.

It's from a movie called Master and Commander, which is based on the Aubrey-Maturin series of books about 2 gay men imposing British imperialism on the world. The books are adequately entertaining, unless you are obsessed with British Imperial Fandom, in which case you'd have made them a corner-stone of your personality and wouldn't need explaining that reference.
