>>2764561>cut my foodSo you're basically just wasting pack room for a glorified and oversized cutlery knife. Small penis moment.
>maybe skinning stuff if i get into huntingYou won't be able to skin an animal properly with that knife; it'll be too big and unwieldy and the blade edge, I'd wager, wouldn't even be appropriate for an efficient cut; there's a reason why we use specific knives for certain situations (like in the kitchen--a chef's knife). You'll end up puncturing the pelt and doing more damage than good. I bet the shape of the edge isn't even appropriate; just get yourself a field dressing kit and do the job properly while you are still green to all of it. Also, that's not even an adequately proper hunting knife; search up "hunting knife" and compare it to your image. I think you are getting a bad knock-off deal here (compare the top part of the blades too). Be very sceptical of anything that comes with a bunch of mini accessories, as they're often trying to compensate for the quality of the product.
Just get yourself a simple survival knife instead of going for a cheap bowie knife; you want something that is much shorter than that and with less of a guard that'll get in the way. Try a 'Morakniv knife' if you're going for a cheap tool-of-most-trades knife. Don't be too proud; size doesn't equate to effectiveness. It just ends up making you look pretentious while serving little utilitarian purpose.
