>>2766783Sure. But I'd rather face three than be carried by six. And as I wrote, 10+ years, multiple traffic stops, many of which they must have ssen it (hell, When I was using a IWB in the beginning, I'd literally put the gun on the passenger seat so it wouldn't press into my crotch when sitting down) and not a single cop even asked for my carry license. It's always driver's license, vehicle registration "have you consumed any drugs?" and then they wave down the next car.
>>2766907>Carry licenses are only for politicians.Wrong. For the small license ("irritant guns", which can fire snake shot and dragons's breath, but no bullets bcs. of a barrel obstruction), I went to the office, they had me sign that I wasn't a NSDAP member or mentally ill, told me it'd take a week for a backgroundcheck, then literally called me the moment I had left the building - right before they closed - and told me I could come get my license the next day. payed the fee, and that was it. Theycan't have done the background check, since I still must've had a nearly fresh entry in my file at the time, and never did the three-year checkup they're supposed to do either.
For the big license (bullet guns), they actually did the check, asked me about the semi-legal stuff I was involved in as a teenager, decided it was long ago and no longer mattered, had me prove that I owned a gun safe and know how to safely handle a gun (military training in my case, dodgers can take a 2h course instead) and asked me why I needed a gun to defend myself, wrote down my "I hike a lot, some assholes don't leash their dogs and I don't want to get mauled" and issued my license. Not sure if that was quite legal, since "hiking a lot" shouldn't be enough to get the "More threatened than the avg. person" checkmark, but that's how officials here act. If they don't have to deal with you bringing three translators and five NGO lawyers, they'll give you whatever you ask for nowadays.
