I was out biking last evening on this fairly popular, crowded trail that is hemmed in by walls on both sides at certain points so there's no real escape and I come across this mass of people and the real problem is there's two dogs, one normal fluffy brown breed, and one obvious pitbull, and its a white guy with the pitbull, I see tons of blacks with pitbulls, and hell, sometimes white women, but white men with pits is pretty rare. And the dogs are barking and lunging at each other, and you can just TELL the pitbull shouldn't be there and is way too violent to interact with people and dogs.

I wanted to shout something like hey buddy not the place for an attack dog, but I just managed to get away.
God I fucking hate pitbulls. If you have a gun, shoot them. I hate them. What a menace. People know they are dangerous attack dogs and that's why they buy them unless the state outlaws it.

Similar here, I go hiking and dogs molest me, nobody cares it's all lols to them. They say dogs can feel I'm a bad person, and if I defend myself that's an obvious proof how bad I am. I almost stopped going outside, it gets ruined almost every time.

that said, in all my years of hiking only once have I had dogs actually try to sort of attack me, and it was an unleashed pitbull
but like even on a leash they still lunge and are violent
they shouldn't be allowed at fucking all

Do you know this from experience? I figured a domesticated dog would taste alright considering their relatively stable food source, not a lot of meat but definitely enough for 1 or 2 men. Street dogs might be a different story, plus those fuckers are almost always diseased
