u need to do a lot of research.
start with chickens probably. there r lots of different breeds that have different characteristics. any kind of animal will require a lot of care and knowledge about how to care for hi,,m/her. u need a decent amount of land. ull need supplies and tools or money to build their living quarters, and that also requires research. also ull want to let them graze wild a bit, chickens eat pests. but if u dont have that much land, ull have to supplement they'are diet.
im trying to be vegetarian/vegan so im going to start by growing food in plant pots in my apartment. thankfully where i live theres a lot of backyard space, but the neighbors have littered a lot so ill be keeping everything off the ground in plant pots.
been researching indoor composting too. its called bokashi. u can make the bran urself. i will be making the bran from european foods only - wheat, milk, molasses. most methods say to make the lactobacillus u need to start with rice. i would compost outside but i have dumb neighbors and roommates who complain about pests. so ill be composting in my bedroom until i can get out of this hellhole...
ive been spending more time outside and getting vitamin d from the sun. apparently u cant get enuf from diet alone.
