My family has been making solitary bee nests with great success. They are the simple kind with stacks of hollow sticks and are almost completely filled up each season.

I would like to try doing the same thing with bumblebees, but have heard they are somewhat persnickety. Has anyone here had success making nests that attract bumblebee queens?
