what i'm impressed by is how the treelines and larger forest paths didn't really change at all - my cunt has topographic maps from 1990

If I'm trail hiking I look at the map before I go and that's all I've ever needed. If I go off trail I take a map and a compass and a GPS for backup.

If I'm in deep forest I just use a compass.
