In a weeks, I have to endure 45 day long survival course to become a survival instructor but i have am afraid of snails and lightning. I will admit fear of snails is irrational, but it seems completely rational to be afraid of sleeping out in the woods during a lightning storm, but they've made it mandatory that ill have to if a thunderstorm happens. How do you guys cope and protect your self from lightning and how do you now be afraid of snails or at least make sure they cant creep on you while camping?
