you can save areas for use without coverage but that's for driving TO the trail and back, unless the trail is already in the google maps system as a dotted line I don't think it just lets you add that to google maps
sometimes it is, for more popular stuff, or sometimes its just like a dot marking where a waterfall is and you just kinda point and walk towards the dot
but alltrails is a lot fucking better because you get a dedicated hiking map layer, they took away topo maps, which is shitty, I assume cuz the feds wanted more money for them to use them
