>>2781394Even small villages change. Village I live in has ~400 full time residents. A bunch of winter homes were bought by out-of-towners as secondary residences and the long-term care facility was shut down and turn into an apartment building. We now have ~300 full time residents. Woods behind my house used to be fields when my mother was a kid. They grew tall and were logged about 15 years ago. A local road I used to walked on daily was to annoying to maintain so the township sold it to the golf course, who put up barbed wire so we wouldn't walk on it anymore. A house at the end of my street - 150 years old, solid brick, one of a kind - is scheduled for demolition.
