I want to try goose but don't have a gun. Anybody ever caught one before?

we either shoot them or rear them here. Goose is by far the best thing to eat at christmas. They are super loyal animals as well. My great uncle has a pair of 'guard geese' in his farm yard, they were pretty scary when I was a kid. Never eaten canada goose though.

idk but these fuckers are proliferating like crazy on a global scale and are far more numerious than they ever have been, with a far larger territory than they ever had. They're just becoming big pigeons but they still have a lot of environmental protections

Wild birds don’t taste like domestic fowl, because domestic fowl is fatter and doesn’t get nearly as much excercise, but Canadian goose is tasty if you do a good job killing and butchering it and it doesn’t go bad in your game bag because you were too dumb to gut it and start it chilling in a timely manner.
