>much junkies>muh liberalsAnd? They don’t expand the urban landscape beyond its natural boundaries. They don’t pave over Forest Park or stop you from checking the 50+ miles of trails. Most of them don’t even bother sleeping in the various smaller parks because it’s not convenient to free food and drugs.
I don’t live there but I’ve been several times. It could be great if they’d run the bums out of town instead of actively inviting them. Plus it’s really close to a ton of varying microclimates. Alpine mountains, year round snow, the coast, deserts, rain forests, and a fucking volcano are all like 4 hours away. There are several national parks and a ton of national forests. I mean yeah, that’s just how the PNW is, but there aren’t too many large cities there.
