It was cloudy where I live, I'll try again today but not sure if I'll be lucky. Sad because I don't have a telescope and won't in the near future so I rely on naked eye observation and events like this are rare

I saw it Saturday and Sunday evening. I'm hoping it gets better. Its actual brightness will decrease as it moves away from the sun, but it will be higher at sunset so it may appear brighter.

This weekend it was bright enough to see by naked eye, and decently visible even just 1 hr after sunset. So you should be able to see even in a light polluted area

Saw it 2 hours ago but the Moon was 95% illuminated so the sky was far from dark but I could still see the comet with the unaided eye.
Had been much cooler if the Moon could fuck off.

Yup, a thick wall of clouds rolled in Saturday afternoon and there has been no relief since. It was pissing rain last evening and more overcast skies are expected this evening. The skies are supposed to be clearer tomorrow but the full moon will create suboptimal viewing conditions. It would be nice to at least get a glimpse of the comet after waiting impatiently all week.

It was bright enough sat and mon i was seeing it 1 hr after sunset while there was still plenty of twilight onthe horizong. Best time was between 7pm-7:30pm because after that it started fading, and had set by 8pm

Weather.com was more accurate last evening. They had a more optimistic forecast and thankfully ended up being right. The clouds rushed out of the western sky by 7:30 and I finally got glimpse of the comet before it dipped out of view. It was rather faint but I'll take anything I can get after being clouded out all week.

Going out to the rural counties with my lucky dollie tonight, in hopes of getting a better look and some decent photos.

Swede here, It's still visible but I could only see it in binoculars thanks to the Moon. Saw it 40 minutes ago.
I'm hoping for clear skies on the 23rd/24th. The Moon will be below the horizon then.

There should be more opportunities to view the northern lights since we haven't reached the solar maximum yet. These go in 11 year cycles and we're approaching the peak of this one.

I found it brightest 1 hr after sunset you could see it with naked eye no problem. But by 1.5 hours you had to know where to look in order to see it

By monday it was dim enough you wouldn't see it unless you were looking at the sky, and now you need to know where to look to find it

I see Aurora all the time, many comets, many meteors, planetary conjunctions, supermoons, and even a total solar eclipse. Weather is NEVER a concern for me, neither is location. I have never missed a single, notable event.

So what's my secret?

I go to bed, and look for the animeposter's photos the morning after. I stay warm and cozy, get well rested, spend almost nothing on telescopes, lenses, DSLRs, the latest iPhones, or other equipment. I never worry about weather, light pollution, editing, making time-lapse, celestial navigation or other factors.

I just enjoy the OP's pics because he never misses anything.

Updating my blog, I saw the comet. Faint because of the shit light pollution but I found it in binoculars then watched it a long time in the telescope. The central glow was clear in a 76mm scope Takahashi san I kneel.
