Hi anons, I'm looking for a great winter bag that's going to last and could theoretically be repaired. My old Coleman bag (pic related) is falling apart in several places. The main weakness seems to be the rice-paper synthetic outside shell which catches on basically anything and rips easily. This has caused the zipper to start coming off in two places and the shell is ripping in several spots like in the picture (cat is not responsible for any damage)
So what's a good bag ideally with ripstop shell that will last me a good time? It doesn't have to be super sub-zero as I live in the southeast US and our average winter low is about 25°F (-4°C). And I don't want a mummy bag because autism restless legs while sleeping.
Weight isn't a concern, nor is price if it's a good one. So what do I buy?
