>>2808593>He doesn't seem to be suffering very much.He complains basically every single video about his back after sleeping because he builds such dogshit shelters. He has to wake up to tend his fire all night instead of using his body heat to stay warm. It's not like doing it the right way takes any longer he just lacks the skill or knowledge to actually make warm/comfortable shelters.
I just want to reiterate: This is the FIRST SKILL YOU LEARN. (Shelter, water, fire, food) It's not as if what I'm saying is some in-depth skill you need to spend your life studying. It is a day one, hour one skill that a 5 year old can learn.
Pic related: You can stay warm in these with just your body heat.
>Yeah, that's probably part of why he doesn't bother making a good shelter, because he's warm enough anyway. Then why bother at all? You can just sleep in a snowbank if you're in full snow gear. I've done it many times.
>I don't go outside and do it myselfThis was literally my point here:
>>2808521"His primary audience seems to be people who never actually go outside."
>I hate the cold.Give your balls a tug. You're not gonna be cold if you're properly dressed.
>He does much better than I myself could. That's genuinely sad dude.
>I watch survivalist content almost entirely for its entertainment value.Like I said it's only entertaining if you dont know any better. To me it's cringe and unwatchable.
>It's a camping/adventure channel.Man I guess the fuck so. Just an incompetent one. I know I seem like a hater (and I am) but I just dont get the appeal of watching someone who barely knows what they're doing act like what they're doing is proper.
There are multiple types of winter survival shelters that are actually warm, dry and comfortable. He just doesnt build them. He builds crappy lean tos and stacks brush on them randomly.
Not even gonna TOUCH his fire structures or rather his lack thereof. You dont need to be Daniel Boone to tell they suck.
