Alltrails just TOTALLY deleted access to community content. You used to be able to see all the routes that anyone had explored on a map, arranged by location, along with "official" trails which are really user submitted in origin as well, so it's a bit of a farce. I've found plenty of non-curated trails through the community section, and yes there's still a community tab but it's only arranged chronologically and by specific user and you can search by town but then the results come up chronologically and you can't refine it to a specific area or load it on a map.
They really fucked up, they want to discourage people from doing unofficial trails and they are gonna anger and lose a lot of users from this.
What are my alternatives that show me where random people are hiking?
