I don't want to drop out of society exactly but I do want to drop out of my place in it and start fresh but unfortunately you aren't allowed to do that anymore with the way all the bureaucracy and paperwork is setup. So it would basically also require dropping out of society since you can't live without being attached to an SS number

Was easier before all the van life homeless trends that caused society to look for and kick out people seen to be living that way.
Ten years or more ago it was entirely doable and most of society didn't consider it their business.
Elites and those that farm the population for taxes and a lootable economy hate anyone that finds a way out of the enslavement though, so once it seems trendy or they learn about it they add new ordinances and restrictions to try and force you back to generating taxes.

The homeless leaving trash and stealing anything nearby have caused normies to support the elites making it legaly difficult.
A lot of people including many retired used to live nomadic. Homeless people made them get noticed and made that life much harder.
