I've owned lots of lovely cats over the years, mostly adopted strays but one rescue. Fuckface was a stray and she was the best cat out of all of them. She's the only cat that would not only follow me into the woods for long walks like a dog, but even when I was camping out in the back acres she would pop out of nowhere in the middle of the night because she couldn't stay away from me. Very risky as we are overrun with foxes, coyotes, fishers, etc. Especially coyotes.
I had always intended to bring a vidya camera with me and make a mini documentary of her chasing me through the woods, disappearing for 10 minutes, and then popping out ahead of me on the trail suddenly waiting for me to catch up with her. But alas, she was taken by a coyote eventually. She lived a good 6 years and literally didn't afraid of anything.
