"WFR" in many states doesn't give you any scope of practice.
Most states do not have a "Wilderness EMT" either.
In Kentucky, we have a unique scope, mostly relegated to Paramedics.
It is decent curriculum (Depending on who it is through) and can serve certain groups, companies, agencies, etc
My .02c is take this if it's either free, or some
sort of job requirement. Or if you just simply have an interest in the topic.
If you're a lay peerson, just read some WP_C prep material and you'll be fine.
If you're establishing curriculum for a SAR team or local EMS / FD then it might be good to pull some info from this course.
