How can i get into sailing as a beginner? I've dreamed about it for a while and want to start studying.
I have some questions:
1: Is long term sailing a thing? For example staying out on the sea for a couple months, or is that a thing of the past?
2: Is there a dedicated community to sailing where i can find other people to sail with me? I'm not sure if this is a pipe dream i will have to do alone or not since i've only thought about it.
3: What are good books/resources i can use to help me get into this?
4: Is it possible to get an internet connection out on the sea? (Sorry if this is a stupid question)
