>>2813359i bring,
alcohol wipes
antibiotic cream
wound closure strips
bleed stop powder,
diphenhydramine
>(I'm allergic to bee stings this is just to reduce the swelling to be less of an inconvenience) i should buy a tourniquet and keep it in my pack
When the cold is a potential issue I bring an emergency blanket as it should help when I am not intending to spend a night outside like breaking a leg or similar injury.
I keep trivial stuff like sting relief, sun screen, aspirin and small bandages in there as well.
If i break an arm/leg or similar injury my strategy is to
1 treat the injury appropriately
2 get to civilization
3 call for help if possible,
4 and then if that isn't possible then i am going to start crawling towards whatever trail/road i know is semi active in hope of getting help.
>4.5 If I am already on a trail, i hope that i had to foresight to tell someone where i am going and on what trail so that people can look for me. 5 If that fails then I will go back to plan 2 and start crawling back to the trailhead. albeit slowly
But assuming that the situation and injury were that bad then i suppose i would probably be dying near this point if i couldn't make it back in the first place.

Climbing a tree or over some rocks and falling,
accidentally cutting myself
