What is ICSOS?
ICSOS (International Canadian School of Survival) is a wilderness survival and safety training school based in Canada. Founded by Dave MacDonald, a retired Search and Rescue Tech with 19 years of experience and 6 years as a survival instructor for the Army, ICSOS teaches survival based on RCAF and NATO standards. Courses cover everything from fire starting and shelter building to cold water immersion and first aid.
What ICSOS Teaches:
Wilderness Survival (Levels 1-4) – Learn the skills to survive in the wild.
Cold Water Immersion – What to do if you fall through the ice.
Red Cross Standard, Remote and Wilderness First Aid – First Aid Certifications
Firearm Safety – Canadian Requirement for buying firearms
Land Navigation (Levels 1-3) - Learn Map, Compass, GPS, MGRS and Natural Navigation
