I've had mosquitoes bite me through jeans, dude. They'll bite through just about any kind of top you wear that isn't a hardshell. Supposedly in 'Nam the SF wore pantyhose on their arms and legs to prevent bug bites, but I doubt that'd prevent mosquitoes honestly.
I just accept the mosquito menace at this point. If it really bothers you, use DEET.
