>"ummm hello you can't be walking on this road like that this is groomed for skiing"
>tell him I want to get to the trailhead to hike
>"waaaah you're ruining our skiing path by doing this"
>whatever, keep going while he continues to mop about it
>ends up being a good 9h hike
>walking back to my car
>notice a big suv parked nearby idling
>it's a forest service ranger
>he jumps out as I near my car
>questions if I was walking up their road earlier
>tell him what happened
>gives me a warning never to do it again and just to wait until skiing season is over
