>>2819905I wouldn't bother, they need a LOT of cranking for a full charge and the charge doesn't last as long as a simple radio that runs off a couple of AA batteries. I have a couple of the old Freeplay radios with the spring that slowly unwinds but they stopped making them a long time ago and one of them has a broken belt which makes the mechanism useless. They made a smaller version called the Freeplay S360 that I'd like to try if I ever find one cheap.
