I looked up the legality of it in my country. And It's illegal.

and you get to do it in select places

but if you pay to go there, and pay to dig, you get to keep what you find

Sometimes I wish I didn't live in Europe. I see people online looking for fossils in New Zealand and in America, and having so much fun...
