I'd say about 6 who are fairly into the outdoors - go camping at least a few times a year, will pretty much always say 'yes' if anyone suggests a dayhike or climbing on a weekend and have done at least week+ hiking trips or been on overseas holidays with an expressly outdoor focus.
And maybe about 6-8 who are superficially into the outdoors - they might say yes if anyone suggests going /out/ on the weekend if the weather's good and they don't have anything else on, and they'll usually join in if we're doing a big group camping trip or long weekend at someone's cabin.
Even with the more eager group we're not usually doing anything particularly hardcore by /out/ standards. A bit of camping, hiking, hunting or climbing usually. Sometimes more than that. A few of us have done some fairly long sections of the AT and PCT together as well as mountaineering trips to Nepal and Europe. Sailing and scuba diving too if that counts.
We met at uni. Of the core 6, I met 3 through the uni rpg club and 3 through classes.
