Sup /out/

I'm going on a camping trip to Colorado over spring break with two friends. I'm a fairly experienced camper, but one of my other companions isn't. Because of this, we aren't going to go backpacking as originally planned. Can someone from /out/ recommend a good camping location in Colorado that's got hike in spots or open camping? I've done some research myself but I was hoping someone on here who's camped in Colorado before can point me towards a good location. I'll delete this thread once I decide where to go.
