I hate Jigging, it just seems so boring.

I cast out, wait till it hits the bottom...
lifting the lure up once off the bottom to get that thump... and I wait...
boredom sets in....
I seem to bounce my lure up and down a bunch of times out of pure boredom or lack of discipline.

Honestly, how the heck does /out/ fish a jig?
slow retrieve? bounce it off the bottom and wait... or bounce it like a ball a bunch of times.

Any good youtube videos much appreciated.
Winter pre-spawn is killing me slowly.
