No.2833097 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Television @150 watts per hour for 4 hours per day
Laptop computer at 65 watts per hour 8 hours per day
LED lights at 60 watts for 8 hours per day
cellphone charging at 100 watts total per day
refrigerator at 100 watts per hour 24 hours per day
heater fan at 120 watts per hour running 12 hours per day
Game system at 100 watts/hour for 2 hours/day
in-tank water pump used occasionally 200 watts total/day
internet 75 watts
A small fan for summer use at 100 watts/hour for 6 hours/day
Air conditioner is not factored in as it would exceed planned battery storage capacity. I should still be able to use the air conditioner a few hours per day but might have to get a larger inverter. When I add the above up I get about 6500 watthrs per day. I want a bit extra for anything else that might be needed so I’m rounding up to 8000 watthrs per day to be consumed. With an average of 5 hours sunshine for 250 days of the year, I wind up needing about 2400 watts of solar panels.

living out my rv how much power do i need to live /comfy/ and how????
