I find lots of pocket watch parts and bullet shells. Sometimes some coins or tokens. A lot of old iron cans and plated silverware and metal trash from the 1800's
I've been detecting for almost 40 years. Not much has changed in my area except way more people are detecting now, and cops are being a lot stricter about enforcing trespass laws. A lot of public places that used to allow detecting don't anymore.
