We're talking investment in a grinder plus tools, sourcing material, shaping and heat treatment. It comes with a kydex sheath with clip attachment. What I want is a simple do-it blade, not an SRK where the rubber handle will loosen up, or a tacticool plastic knife, or wooden handles that'll come loose or rot.
Single piece of steel with paracord wrapping, chisel grind and a kydex sheath. Decent, easy to care for, fail-proof.
