Depends on which way you're coming from. The direct route from the north looks brutal, I'd do it from the south-west along the contour lines. And you might have to go back the same way, looking at how steep the path to the north seems to be.
Mind sharing the entire tour? How many days is it?

Well, the reason for omitting La Dotse seems to be that it's either an ungodly ascent/descent, or a long way off the route and you have to backtrack. And it's probably not worth it.
Please post lots of pictures if you do this tour, I'd love to see it.
