So my scout troop does this thing where you get a percentage of what you make for the troop (through fundraising) to use on scout related things such as backpacking gear, camping food, sleds, any shit that's outdoors really.

The catch is that i turn 18 and lose all of that money in a month so I need to drop $1500 before I lose it and I want some advice on what to buy.

I already have the essentials, clothes, pack, stove, tent. I'm just looking for any thoughts on what else to get, I also have a dehydrator to make my own food so I can afford backpacking while in college.
