I am going camping and I am not familiar with any laws/regulations around camping in Indiana. Camping in a State Park is only allowed in areas set aside for that, correct?

I had a look on the DNR website for indiana and it looks that way man. Also, you gotta pay in Murrika for state park access? Dang, but still, money flowing into the parks would be a good thing. We sure could use more of that here in Aus.

What State Park are you planning on going to? Just email the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and tell them your plans and whether you have to book a camp site/ camp in specified spots or can just cruise to remote locations

Aussie bro, there is a difference between a State Park and a campground, which is usually run by consessionairs. Not sure about Idiana, but many State Parks di not have campgrounds.

Brown County State Park. I'll go ahead and shoot them and email since we are all innawoods kinda guys. Besides, never hurts to ask.

This State Park does have a campground, but from what I saw the only primative campsite is for horsemen. I'm going to ask if it is ONLY for horsemen though.
