Yellowstone is average compared to your other options. I worked in Glacier, Yosemite, and Teton NP all within the last 5 years as a seasonal worker in hospitality just like yourself.
Some tips:
>Apply at multiple locations
this way you have an option and can demand things from employers. Get details on Housing, Pay, and Food in that order and hold them to it when you arrive. I set up 3 jobs and had my arrival date a week out from each other. This way, when I arrived I had no qualms about getting what I was promised and if not then I would fuck off out of there to the next location within that park or at a NP close by.
>Only take a job as a server Bartender
Best money, conditions and atmosphere. Housekeeping and Maintenance are a fucking joke. Some office jobs are good but take years to get hired on for.
>Do not party your summer away
I did this the first two years in a NP. Yea I still went on a few hikes those years but never tapped the potential of having 4 months in a NP. Life will only open doors to this type of thing for a small amount of time so Do Not Fucking Drink Your Chance Away! The parties, foreign women, beer, weed, etc is all in excess and flowing every night in these atmospheres so its a lot easier than you think to get overly caught up in. You are there to Hike. Not work or party which both combined can take every second you have if you allow it. So do each as least as possible.
Thats all I got for now any questions feel free to ask.
