I'm looking for some information on living in a van. Me and my wife have decided to say fuck it to living in an apartment complex, and in about a month or two, we are going to be purchasing a van.
Problem is, the only van I can think of is a Winnebago. Before now, I have not given the idea much serious thought.
Our current plan is parking in a different 24 hour grocery store parking lot every night, and a YMCA membership for showers (As an added bonus, we'll be more likely to get /fit/ in the process.)
We don't plan on this being long term, but on the other hand if we enjoy it, I think we might commit to living that way.
We are going to be doing this right in the middle of Western Washington.
TL;DR: OP and wife think being homeless is less dehumanizing than living in an apartment complex and need some advice on how to not be filthy stinking bums. Also advice on vans.
